White Castle: "Borderlands" Web AR

Tactic worked with White Castle, along with their partners at Gearbox Studios and Lionsgate Entertainment, to create a unique set of web-based AR experiences that trigger directly from various in-store and retail packaging, depicting the iconic "Claptrap" robot character from game and film fame, on and around the packaging.  Users scan special edition White Castle cups, or boxes of sliders, and see the robot wheel into their environment on and around the packaging, opening the world of the "Borderlands" film in full three-dimensional augmented reality.
